Winter & Spring Theatre Program

The Neighborhood Players

The Neighborhood Players is an extracurricular program for children ages 7-12 that focuses on developing fundamental acting, singing, and dancing skills. It culminates in two professional productions annually, providing students with valuable performance experience. Essentially, it's a program designed to introduce children to the world of theater and nurture their creative abilities.The mission of the Neighborhood Players Theatre Program is to ignite young imaginations and develop essential theater skills. By putting on a professional production and honing their skills in acting, singing, and dancing, students will build confidence, teamwork, and creativity. Our curriculum culminates in dynamic, full-scale productions providing students with invaluable performance experience and a platform to showcase their talents. Casts meet on weekends (and some weekdays after school) for 12 weeks after the initial audition process.

Our comprehensive theater program is designed to spark creativity, build confidence, and foster a lifelong love of the arts for children ages 7-12. Our after-school program offers three exciting options:Musical Theater: Immerse yourself in the world of song, dance, and drama. This option focuses on developing your acting, singing, and dancing skills, culminating in a final production featuring music, dance, and drama.

Straight Theater: Hone your acting skills through intensive training and exploration of dramatic techniques. This option is perfect for those who want to focus on acting and storytelling, culminating in a straight theater production.

Music & Movement: Discover the joy of music and dance! Explore different genres, develop your musical and dance abilities, and showcase your talents in a variety show featuring a variety of musical and dance styles.

Summer Camp

Unleash your child's inner star!Our two-week summer camp sessions offer a dynamic and immersive theater experience for young performers age 7-12. Each session culminates in a captivating 30-minute show!What to expect:* 2 weeks of immersion: Explore acting, singing, dancing, and improvisation.
